VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — T-Mobile has told the city of Virginia Beach that the intermittent phone issues for its customers reaching 911 have been resolved early Tuesday evening.

The city said T-Mobile customers should now be able to call and reach VB911 dispatchers, according to the carrier’s management team.

Some T-Mobile customers in Virginia Beach had issues reaching 911 due to a vendor outage.

The city had advised T-Mobile customers to call the non-emergency number at 757-385-5000 during the outage.

Residents were still able to reach 311 through the online chat portal which can be accessed from the VirginiaBeach.gov homepage.
