VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A Virginia Beach firefighter suffered a minor injury while battling large fire at a business complex early Monday morning.

Just after 5:30 a.m., crews responded to the 3300 block of Holland Road for a fire at a commercial property.

Pictures of the incident show flames and smoke pouring from the roof and the extensive damage the fire caused.

Officials said two businesses were affected, and both were closed at the time of the fire.

Crews had the fire under control by 7:09 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
