Something in the Water returning to Virginia Beach in 2020

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Next year’s Something In The Water festival was officially announced on Monday, along with a list of ticket prices and dates.

Locals and repeat festival goers get first dibs.

During a presentation at a city council briefing this month, officials revealed that there will be a presale with $150 “early bird” 3-day general admission tickets available to Virginia residents and returning customers on Saturday, October 19.

Passes will be available to purchase in person Saturday at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater from noon until 5 p.m. or online during that time span at somethinginthewater.com. Fees will be waived for the in-person purchases only.

The event’s website says only limited numbers of the $150 passes are available. A “last chance” $175 3-day pass is also listed.

A $500 VIP pass is also available during the presale, with fees added for online purchases.

An official lineup of artists is scheduled to be announced on November 12, just days before tickets go on sale to the public on November 15.

Virginia Beach native Pharrell Williams announced the festival will run from April 20 to April 26, adding three extra days compared to last year’s event.
