VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Virginia Beach police are investigating a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning.

According to Virginia Beach Police, the crash occurred in the 1300 block of London Bridge Road around 2:20 a.m.

One person died following the crash, police said. There were no other injuries reported.

In a tweet around 4 a.m., officials say London Bridge Road will be closed temporarily between Shipps Corner Road and Crusader Circle.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.

Police did not release additional information.
