WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — A gun was believed to have been fired during an apparent road rage incident on Thursday in Williamsburg, police say.
It happened around 6:10 p.m. in the 100 block of Thomas Nelson Lane, behind the Residence Inn off Richmond Road.
One of the drivers said they avoided a collision from the other driver and drove away in the other direction. That’s when the first driver said they heard a gunshot originating from the direction of the suspect’s vehicle, which is described as a dark-colored mid-size sedan.
No injuries were reported and no shell casings were recovered from the scene. However, police are investigating and want to find that driver. Anyone with information is asked to call the Williamsburg Police Department at 757-220-2331.
