WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — This Memorial Day Weekend all active-duty military, reservists, retirees, veterans, National Guard members and their immediate dependents receive free admission to Colonial Williamsburg.

The tickets are courtesy of the Colonial Williamsburg’s “Honoring Service to America” program. This program is made possible through a $100,000 grant from the Home Depot Foundation. Nearly 59,000 tickets have been distributed to military families since the program began in 2015.

Additionally, Colonial Williamsburg is partnering with the Williamsburg Chapter of the Virginia Society of the Sons of the American Revolution to host a Memorial Day Commemoration on Palace Green Monday, May 27 at 10 a.m.

Free “Honoring Service to America” single-day passes are available at all onsite ticket locations with proper ID. Children over the age of 10 must show a valid ID.
