Man wanted for Wells Fargo robbery in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach police are looking for a man who robbed a Wells Fargo bank on Independence Blvd. on Monday afternoon. 

The robbery happened around 2:30 p.m. at 1068 Independence Blvd. 


Police say the suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money and ran away on foot. 

He’s described as around 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a medium build, short hair and a slight beard and mustache. 

He was wearing a black and white Bulls ballcap, sunglasses, a blue zip-up sweatshirt and a graffiti print T-shirt underneath.
