NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — No injuries were reported following a crash involving a Norfolk school bus and another car, officials say.

Norfolk police said the crash happened at Granby and Thole streets — right across from Granby High School just after 8:45 a.m. The bus was full of students heading to school at the time, but no one was hurt.

Police said the bus and a Toyota Scion were both going south on Granby Street, when the bus tried to change lanes and sideswiped the Toyota.

Two adults were in the car, but no injuries were reported.

Police said the bus driver was cited for unsafe lane change.

The crash was happened as many students across Hampton Roads headed back to school.
