NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The Norfolk Sheriff’s Office’s Sheriff Joe Baron Foundation has released the dates of its upcoming summer camps.
The sports camps are open to Norfolk students ages 10 to 14. Children can register for one, two or all three sports. College coaches and athletes from ODU and Norfolk State are slated to join.
Football is June 24 and 25.
Baseball is June 26.
And basketball is June 27 and 28.
The summer camps, which include activites ranging from canoeing to archery, take place at Camp Apasus at 8420 Granby Street and are open to students ages 9 to 13.
Week 1 is July 8 through the 12.
Week 2 is July 15 through the 19.
And week 3 is July 22 through the 26.
