PASQUOTANK COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) — Investigators have charged a man with first-degree murder for a weekend shooting that left another man dead.
The Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office said 22-year-old Dazis Davante Bonds, of Elizabeth City, was arrested Monday afternoon.
Deputies were dispatched to a shooting the evening of June 30. Twenty-one-year-old Devon Khamari Revelle was found in the roadway, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Revelle was pronounced dead at the scene.
Multiple agencies assisted in the investigation including: North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations, Dare County Sheriff’s Office and the Elizabeth City Police Department.
Bonds is being held at Albemarle District Jail without bond.
