ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) – The Elizabeth City Police Department is investigating a crash involving a school bus Monday afternoon.

According to police, officers responded in reference to a vehicle crash around 2:56 p.m. on US-17 South and Forest Park Roads.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found Elizabeth City- Posquotank Public School bus #204 involved in a crash with a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.
