PASQUOTANK COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) — The North Carolina Highway Patrol praised a trooper in Pasquotank County who helped save some baby opossums.

According to a Facebook post, a driver stopped to help after a car hit the mother opossum and one of its babies.
