RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Officials have responded to a train derailment in Richmond’s East End.
This happened at 3301 Williamsburg Avenue, a quarter of a mile from the railroad crossing.
There were no reported injuries or hazardous materials leaking from the two derailed cars, officials say.
Richmond fire officials said Norfolk Southern will be investigating the incident.
Wednesday morning’s derailment came days after a Norfolk Southern train derailed outside of Downtown Richmond.
