FARMVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — An autopsy has positively identified the man whose body was found in a trailer just outside Farmville last week.
The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 5226 US 258 to the report of a body found. They found a man dead in a home. An autopsy positively identified the body as that of Bobby Barnes, 60. He had been reported missing to the Farmville Police Department.
The autopsy also showed no obvious signs of foul play. A further report was awaiting the pending toxicology results. The case remains under investigation.
