Police investigating shooting at White Oaks Lodge in Hampton

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — A verbal argument turned violent on the night of Sept. 27 into the morning of Sept. 28. at the White Oaks Lodge in Hampton.

Shots were fired on the 3500 block of Kecoughtan Road resulting in a non-life threatening injury. Police responded to the incident at 12:10 a.m.


The victim, a 30-year-old Hampton male, disclosed that both he and the suspect got into a verbal argument at the White Oaks Lodge before the suspect left and returned with a firearm.

The suspect is described as a man with a beard and short hair.
