NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk police have arrested a 19-year-old and a 17-year-old in connection to a convenience store armed robbery on Wednesday.
And according to police investigators, the juvenile was also behind a series of armed robberies since May 22.
The most recent happened around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at a Tinee Giant store in the 600 block of Thole Street.
The teller told police a man walked into the store, displayed a gun, and ran out after taking money.
After the Tinee Giant robbery, police arrested Erskin L. Hall, 19, of the 100 block of Filbert Street, and the 17-year-old, and charged both with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and conspiracy.
Detectives later tied the juvenile to the other five armed robberies, and charged him with an additional five counts of robbery, one count of attempted robbery, one count of conspiracy, six counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, one count of malicious wounding, four counts of unlawful wearing of a mask and four counts of possession of a firearm by a minor.
Police say Hall is being held at Norfolk City Jail without bond and the juvenile is being held in the Norfolk Detention Center.
