CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) — Former South Carolina Gov. and Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is making a campaign stop Sunday at Coastal Carolina University.
Doors open at 2:30 p.m., with the event starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Williams Brice building.
Haley will become the second Republican presidential candidate to visit the Grand Strand in the past week. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis visited Myrtle Beach before he announced his plans to drop out of the race.
Haley trails former president Donald Trump by more than 30 points with less than a month to go before the South Carolina GOP primary on Feb. 24. Haley was at Mauldin High School in the Upstate for a Saturday night rally.
News13 will have a full report on Haley’s visit online and on air later.
