Portable chargers sold at Costco recalled due to possible fire and burn hazards

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – myCharge has issued a recall on their POWER HUB portable charger due to possible fire and burn hazards while charging.

The recall impacts the myCharge POWER HUB All-In-One 10,000mAh portable chargers with model numbers AO10FK-A, AO10FK-B AND AO10FK-C. The recalled chargers also have date codes ending in 21 or 22. The four codes ending in 23 are 0123, 0923, 1523 and 1723.


The chargers were sold exclusively at Costco from Jan. 2022 through Nov. 2023.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, there have been a total of 120 reports of the charger overheating. myCharge received five reports, with two reports of a residential fire resulting in $165,000 in property damage. Costco received 115 returns for issues including melting, expanding, smoking, fire, burning, exploding or sparking.

No injuries have been reported.

Customers are urged to immediately stop using the charger and to contact myCharge for a replacement.
