HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Seven puppies rescued in Louisiana are now up for adoption in Hampton.
According to the nonprofit canine rescue group Unchain America, the owner of the 10-week-old puppies brought them to a veterinary clinic in the Lake Providence area pleading for help. The elderly man couldn’t afford to feed them.
The vet then reached out to Unchain America, whose volunteers took the dogs to Critters 4 U Rescue in Hampton on Monday. The dogs are different breeds, and Unchain America offers to subsidize veterinary care up to $250 to cover vaccines and other procedures.
To contact Critters 4 U about the puppies, you can give them a call at (757) 335-0028.
