SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A federal jury convicted a Suffolk man on Monday for selling a gun to a felon.
Court records show 29-year-old Charlie Keys sold a loaded, semi-automatic handgun to a man he knew was a felon.
That man was working as a confidential informant for the Suffolk Police Department, and recorded the sale on video.
Keys faces a maximum of 5 years in prison, and his sentencing is set for November.
