NORFOLK (WAVY) – As the starting long-snapper for the Philadelphia Eagles, Rick Lovato helped deliver the city’s first ever Super Bowl title. On Saturday night, before the Norfolk Tides took on the Buffalo Bison, he delivered the first pitch at Harbor Park the only way he knew how…between his legs.

“I didn’t hit the dirt or throw it over his (the catcher’s) head so I was happy about that,” said Lovato, who became the first Old Dominion graduate ever to start in a Super Bowl last February, when the Eagles dethroned the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 52.
