CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Two suspects are being sought after Virginia State Police chased a stolen vehicle in Chesapeake Tuesday morning.
State police Sgt. Michelle Anaya said a trooper was chasing a vehicle on Interstate 64 East near Greenbrier Parkway around 7:45 a.m.
The driver got off at Greenbrier and two people — the driver and a passenger — abandoned the vehicle and ran from the scene.
Anaya said the vehicle was confirmed stolen out of Virginia Beach.
Chesapeake police have responded to the scene to help troopers search for the suspects, Anaya said.
