VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — One of two teenagers charged in connection to a Virginia Beach robbery has pleaded guilty.

Police say Jonathan Todora and Riley Miller, both 17, robbed a woman at gunpoint on Shore Drive last December. The woman flagged down officers, who tracked down Todora a short time later.

Miller was found at his home, just a few blocks from the robbery. Police say he fought with officers as they tried to take him into custody — even pulling out a knife and stabbing an officer in the leg.

Todora pleaded guilty Wednesday morning to charges of robbery and use of firearm in a felony.

Police charged Miller with malicious wounding and attempted capital murder on an officer.
