HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Warrants are out for two men wanted in connection with Saturday’s homicide investigation after a Newport News man was fatally shot in a Family Dollar parking lot.

According to Hampton Police, they were dispatched to the 900 block of Aberdeen Road around 3 p.m. 

When police arrived on the scene, they found a man lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. Police later identified him as 23-year-old Iquan Malik McClain.  

Police say McClain was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

Now, two Newport News men,  21-year-old Breshard Renard Turner and 23-year-old Rashad Lamont Langley, are wanted by police.

Turner is wanted for second degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and a concealed weapon.

Langley’s connection to the death of 23-year-old Iquan Malik McClain is still unknown, but he is wanted for an active warrant from this incident for one count of shoplifting.
