NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — Two suspects robbed a Newport News business at gunpoint late Sunday night, police say.
Newport News police said officers were called to SoftTime at 15392 Warwick Boulevard just before 11:00 p.m. Sunday.
Two men who work there told officers left the business and got confronted by two robbers in a light blue 1980’s model Toyota vehicle. The suspects forced the employees back into the business, demanding money.
The suspects took off northbound on Warwick Boulevard after getting cash. Police said the vehicle had a driver’s side hubcap missing.
Police described both robbers as black men. One wore a black mask and black jumpsuit. The other suspect wore a burgundy hoodie, black pants, and black Adidas shoes.
