Donald Trump is projected to win the GOP primary in Virginia, according to Decision Desk HQ.
Trump faced off against former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley for the GOP nomination, who had made a last-minute pitch to voters in the commonwealth during an appearance last week. Haley was also coming out of her sole primary victory in Washington, D.C.
Forty-eight delegates are up for grabs on the Republican side in Virginia.
Meanwhile, Biden is expected to win the Virginia GOP primary; Biden beat Trump in the state in 2020 by 10 points.
