LAS VEGAS – The world’s largest sports betting experience calls Sin City home.
Circa’s three-story sportsbook features stadium seating and a huge screen so everyone can keep an eye on the action.
“Probably for 30 years of casino design in Las Vegas, sportsbooks were kind of treated a little bit more like an amenity or an afterthought,” said Derek Stevens, CEO of Circa Resort & Casino. “When we went through all these design meetings, we really wanted to make the sportsbook a focal point.”
On Super Bowl Sunday, the big game will take center stage.
“There will be one big screen, and there will be some odds boards on the side, right, of some things that are live—the live odds ,” said Mike Palm, Circa’s vice president of operations. “At that time, all other sports shut down, right? College plays early, hockey has an early game. The world steps aside for the Super Bowl.”
Indoors not your style? Check out the Stadium Swim—six pools beneath a behemoth, 40-foot-tall video screen showing nothing but sports.
“We wanted to focus in on the fact that Vegas has 330 days of sunshine a year,” Stevens said. “That’s why it’s open 365 [days a year].”
Without a doubt, Circa is a good bet for the big game.
“We’re open and we’re ready to go. But sports has always been the focus.”
