CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – The I-464 northbound ramp near Freeman Avenue in Chesapeake was closed for several hours Wednesday.

According to 511virginia.org, the closure was due to a disabled tractor-trailer. The north right shoulder of I-464 and exit 3 were closed as a result.

A tweet from @ChesapeakeRoads just before 10 a.m. Wednesday said Freeman Avenue, between Bainbridge Blvd. and the I-464 ramps, was also closed to traffic. The tweet said it was due to a chemical spill.

Just before 1:30 p.m., an updated tweet confirmed that the road and ramp had reopened.
