SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Work has been completed on a new section of Nansemond Parkway that will connect it with Wilroy Road.
Officials say this section is expected to open as early as Saturday, June 8.
Phase two of the project, which involves construction of the overpass, is expected to be completed by summer 2025.
During this time, motorist are advised that the speed limit will be reduced to 35 mph in the work zone.
