As wildfires wreak havoc on southern California, at least 10 people have died and hundreds of thousands have been forced to evacuate their homes.

Two members from the Virginia Beach-based Operation Blessing flew to Los Angeles Thursday to join four others who came from across the globe to help first responders putting their lives in danger.

Both Hampton and Newport News spent the day preparing for a winter storm that will likely hit, but to what extent, we'll soon find out

Weather can change in a matter of minutes, and that’s what had Virginia Beach crews busy Thursday and Friday as a winter storm was heading to the Hampton Roads region. 

It's Draft Day at Chesapeake Regional Healthcare, and nothing could prepare the group of future nurses as staff members shaking pom-poms cheered them on as they made their way down a blue carpet.

A former member of the Virginia Board of Medicine was surprised to learn of allegations that a whistleblower was reprimanded by Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, as described in a federal indictment related to convicted OB-GYN Javaid Perwaiz.
