VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – A Virginia Beach woman won a jackpot playing the Virginia Lottery, all from the comfort of her home.
According to lottery officials, Cheryl Nettingham decided to play the lottery’s Bucks Triple Play game on her phone one Saturday night.
Upon realizing she had just won the jackpot worth $893,232, she told her husband, “I have something to share with you. You might want to sit down.”
She told lottery officials she was stunned and in disbelief.
