WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) – The race for the Republican presidential nomination is now down to two people, former President Donald Trump and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley.
Donald Trump and Nikki Haley have made their case as to why they should take on President Joe Biden in November, now it’s in the hands of the voters in the Granite state.
“New Hampshire voters are very savvy,” said New Hampshire voter Mary Roberge.
In the final hours Haley sharpened her attacks against former President Trump.
“Chaos follows him. And we can’t be a country in disarray and have a world on fire and go through four more years of chaos,” said Haley.
She is now Trump’s only challenger for the GOP nomination and Haley tells voters it’s time for a new generational leader.
“Are we really going to say that we’re okay with having our options be two 80-year-olds that run for president?” she asked.
The latest polls show she faces an uphill battle and Trump is painting Haley as unelectable in a general election match-up with President Biden.
“The radical left Democrats are supporting Nikki for one simple reason, because they know that she’s very easy to beat,” said Trump.
Both Haley and Trump are hoping to pick up votes from DeSantis supporters.
