The past 3 weeks, we’ve had the same pattern- several dry days followed by 2 back-to-back days of heavy rainfall. That once again looks like it’ll be the case for the week ahead, the next chance for rain moves back in Thursday and Friday!

The low pressure system that brought us all of the rain the past two days has now moved off the coast and we will be dry for the weekend ahead, but the unseasonably warm air also moved out. But don’t worry, it won’t be too cold over the next several days!

The other factor today is how windy it will be. If you’re heading out on the water, you will certainly notice a difference. Winds will be around 10-15 MPH with some gusts up to 25 MPH but if you’re on the water, sustained winds will be around 20-25 KTS. Hold on to your hats!

The week heading into Christmas looks good! High pressure sits overhead so that means the weather pattern will be rather quiet. If you’re traveling along the east coast, you won’t have to worry about weather causing any delays! Enjoy the sunshine and Happy Holidays!
