With the exception of a few isolated showers through the week, we had the same pattern all week long: hot & humid. Unfortunately, that is changing just in time for the weekend. Ugh! We will have some sunshine today, but it won’t be cloud free like the sky has been for the past few days. Because of the clouds, it won’t be quite as warm either. Our high temperatures will top off in the low 80s. If you’ve been waiting for more seasonable weather, that’s coming up this week!

There some storms rolling across the east coast, which could cause some problems for the Kentucky Derby and this line of storms is eventuallly the same one that will bring us rain through tonight on into Sunday. It could be heavy at times, but overall the threat for widespread thunderstorms is low. I think we’ll have a mostly cloudy sky with on and off rain throughout the day. Highs will be a little cooler, in the mid 70s.

Then we’ll be drying out as we start off the work week! Plenty of sunshine and much more seasonable conditions. Our highs will top off in the low 70s on Monday and then it gets a bit warmer for Tuesday. Rain doesn’t move back in until later next week. Stay tuned!
