An area of low pressure is moving from south to north across our area today, and it’s enhancing our rain chances this morning.

Rain will be likely through 2PM, then gradually tapering off as the low moves away from our area. So, the afternoon will not be as soggy as this morning.

Tomorrow brings more showers, but mainly in the afternoon (and the coverage will be less widespread). So, your Sunday will be a better day for outdoor plans.  It’ll also be hotter with highs near 90°…(unlike the near 80° temps today due to cloudy skies and rain-cooled air).

Rainfall estimates between today and tomorrow will generally range from 1″ – 3″ (some localized areas may get a little more). Rain chances will follow us into next week due to an upper-level low meandering just to our west…putting us in a favorable region for daily showers/storms.  So, make sure to carry the umbrella everyday next week.
