Track 1: Snow (Hey Oh) by the Red Hot Chili Peppers
Snow!?? A few spots of the region could see some snow mix in early Friday morning as the rain-snow line sets up to our north.

However, the majority of us will be dealing with chilly rain showers early Friday morning through about late morning as temperatures will hold above freezing. Chances of a wintry mix or snow mixing in will be up towards Williamsburg, the Northern Neck, and closer to Richmond.

We may actually have a better chance of seeing some passing snow flurries or a brief snow shower Friday evening and Saturday morning…. as the cold air comes crashing in!

Track 2: Cold As Ice by Foreigner
The arctic air gets reinforced behind this system to set up a very, very cold weekend! Hit temperatures on both Saturday and Sunday will be in the 30s… with morning lows in the upper teens and 20s.

Track 3: Winter Winds by Mumford & Sons
The other big story for the weekend are the wind chill values that will plague the region. Winds gusting around 25 & 30mph for the majority of the weekend will create wind chill factors around 15°-20° Saturday morning… on either side of 20° all day Saturday…. and near 10° Sunday morning (yikes!).

Clouds give way to sunshine later Saturday to set up the bright (but cold) Sunday. Warmer days are on the horizon next week!

Have a great weekend!
