VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The Virginia Beach man accused of abducting his three kids after stabbing his ex-wife and stepdaughter earlier this month has been extradited into Virginia Beach Sheriff’s Office custody.
The case involving Dana Plummer prompted an Amber Alert and culminated in a crash in Maryland that killed Plummer’s 16-month-old daughter. His two other children were seriously hurt.
Plummer previously appeared in Maryland court in connection to the incident, but this marks the first time he’ll appear in Virginia Beach court. He’s expected to be arraigned on Thursday.
Plummer faces several charges in Virginia Beach, including three counts of abduction by force and misdemeanor assault on a family member.
